   First of all.
   1918 pandemic was the avian flu which is much worse. The swine flu now is basically nothing. The normal flu is worse.
   Second of all. Most cases have been mild for about two months now and most deaths were cause of poor health care and they had health conditions.
   Third of all All the deaths around the world aren’t even half way there to how many people die a year from the normal flu.

   I hope not.I caught a virus off my doctor that was 10 weeks
   ago.i have had Amoxyll yet it has come back.I feel really rough
   & run down.So looks like i will have to go back to the doctors &
   hope he has got rid of it.

   Wow it looks very much the same that it’s scary. But luckily we do have a vaccine that helps get rid of it. We were prepared this time and now with the medical science at it’s best i think we can relax a little bit.

   I don’t think we’re going down the same road. In 1918, they didn’t have all the resources and technology that we do now. There was also no antibiotics back then.

   I know totally weird right? I was saying this the other day to my mum!
   But hey, it could be fine, we live in a different time now, we have the right stuff and our society is much cleaner then before.
