Swine Flu, help please :)….?

January 30th, 2011 | Flu Symptoms and Signs Scroll Down To Read Answers To The Question

Hi all :)

(Wasn’t sure about the category for this)

I know lots of people have been worrying about swine flu, and I’m sure you’ve read lots of complaints/worries, so, well, sorry if this gets on your nerves, lol >_<

Do you think I have swine flu...???

[What are the symptoms?

The symptoms of swine influenza are similar to normal influenza (fever, cough, tiredness, muscle aches, sore throat, chills, shortness of breath, runny nose, headache). Some cases of swine influenza have also complained of vomiting and diarrhoea. In some cases, swine influenza can result in a severe pneumonia. Symptoms of influenza generally appear between two to four days after exposure.]

I do feel a bit chilly (not sure if a window is open, or I just walked quickly out of my room that caused some cold wind against me, or…I dunno), and right now, my nose is very blocked. And during school today, it would not stop running ¬_¬ I swear I’ve used a LOT of tissues today, lol! xD
And since I’ve been blowing my nose hard into the tissue now and then, I’ve been feeling this sort of light headache [meaning like, my head started hurting a bit].

Thank you all if you answer/help! :D

I’m not TOO worried about this, but I was just making sure, lol -.-

hmm tbh i think it might just be a cold but if there’s anyone in your area who has had it or been to mexico, then would be worried!

  2. Josiee ..<33 says:

you probally just have a cold
you only need to worry if you have been to mexico when the Outbreak started, been in close contact with a known sufferer.

  4. MP_doc says:

it sounds like you have allergies. The symptoms you describe are not flu symptoms.

  5. Robert W says:

swine flu is just a strain of flu –
If you have real flu then you know about it – you are bed ridden and have no energy for several days. You will have a fairly severe temperature and feel like doing absolutely nothing.

You are typing on a computer – making some sense out of your question… so I don’t believe that you have flu.
swine Flu is just the same as any other flu – except that is seems to be spreading the world quite rapidly and, at present, they have no specific vaccine against it.
Take a paracetamol and go to bed early – you’ll feel better in the morning.

  6. Helen of Troy says:

If you’re feeling chilly in a sick way, you wouldn’t be worrying about an open window or a cold wind. What they mean by chills is an actual symptom. It means having a fever so high that you feel cold, and can’t stop shaking and shivering from it.I know, because i had pneumonia a few years ago and had the chills.
you probably just have a cold, which is better than ANY sort of flu
