ive woken up this morning with a terrible sore throat and earache cold etc in the past ive tried different remedies. Im off to 24 hour tesco in a bit any body got any over the counter treatments that really work . i usd to get power caps but cant find them any more

I get the worst sore throats and the only thing that works for me are “cepricol drops.” I think thats how u spell that. They are just regular cough drops that are a little more medicated than most.
sounds like a throat infection. i would suggest some plain ol tylenol or asprin for the pain and a visit to the dr’s office asap.
The earache may be a result of congestion so try an antihistamine. Good luck.
Sorry to hear that but if it`s a virus theres very little you can do exept relieve the symptoms good luck hope your better soon.
Powercaps contain phenylpropanolamine which is frowned upon now thats why you cant get it.
Sudafed tablets with paracetamol would probably be the best combo. Merocaine lozingers are great for treating a sore throat too.
Keep an eye on it though, if you have a temperature and things dont improve soon, go to your doc.
