ok, this tastes really gross! i mean really gross! but when ever i have a cold it works and relieves ALL symptoms everytime, an irish friend told me about it.
    so

    mix 1 clove of garlic
    half a teaspoon of ginger
    half a teaspoon of honey
    1 teaspoon of lemon juice

mix it to a paste and eat it! like i said it tastes horrible but has always worked for me! good luck x

  5. Allyvia says:

rest, take it easy, drink lots of liquids, eat healthy, try not to talk a lot. it just takes time. if you have them a lot you might want to ask your doctor if you need your tonsils taken out :/
i got mine out and i only get sore throats like once a year now

  6. smiley_face_boxers says:

I have found that if I feel a really bad sore throat coming on, due to sinus drainage or whatever…If I start chugging glasses of orange juice, the next day my throat is so much better.

Maybe it is the acidic pH of OJ that does the trick, or the vitamin C.

Good luck! I feel your pain…

  7. Jamie M says:

honey and lemons coats your throats and will help them feel better, they also make sprays for sore throats that can be used multiple times a day

also, don;t eat solid foods, they hurt worse and can scratch up your throat if there’s really something wrong. drink a lot of ice water, it will help numb your throat

  8. heogog says:

Hot tea with honey and lemon can be good. Chloraseptic spray might help too. It doesn’t work a long time, but it can help.

Usually, drinking clear warm liquids makes a sore throat feel better. NOT really HOT liquids.

Most carbonated beverages can irritate your throat. Some juices are ok, but avoid lime, lemon, orange and tomato juices as they could aggravate your throat.

I never tried this yet but i have heard that if you boil lemonade and then drink it goes right away. It’s worth a shot! :)

  10. hudhud says:

lemon and salt to disinfect and mash some fresh mint leaves and swallow them for smell. gargle with salty water 3/4 times a day
