Is there a cure for swine flu!?

January 6th, 2011 | Flu Symptoms and Signs Scroll Down To Read Answers To The Question

Because i heard that scientists have said that the only way to get rid of swine flu is to get all the Mexicans and put them on a secluded island. Where they will enjoy a good game of hitting the pinata while us real people (the rest of the world) at a safe distance will fire nukes onto the Mexican filled island thus killing all the inhabitants stopping swine flu. All the pigs in Mexico will soon get healthier as there are no Mexicans around to infect them. The scientists then go on to say that the healthy Mexican pig’s will go on to form a government. And do a better job then the EXMexicans could ever dream helping the world economy to stabilize. so now you see what the final solution is!?.

  2. Keith says:

No cure, and it has no connection to pigs or pork. It was spread by flies that were eating pig shit.

  3. Matt K says:

I heard somebody say that the normal flu vaccine worked. Not sure if it is true though.

interesting way of containing infection n saving the economy.
surprising the way ‘scientists’ sometimes think
it would b terrible to think if they r be appointed in the center for disease control to control HIV infection in the US.
i think they will have the solution of chopping off the ‘tool’ of all guys in America to contain AIDS.

There are 2 medicines they can give you that will help, but there is no actual cure. Either your body (with or without the help of the medicine) gets rid of it on it’s own or you die. Very sad situation.

My mom and brother are in Mexico right now… but my brother isn’t going to school for a while just to be safe.I think they’re closing up the borders or something like that… They have many cures, but if you know anyone who has been to Mexico, you should tell them to stay home for probably 24 or 48 hours(I forgot which one). Here is some more info. about the swine flu… I looked it up on Wikipedia:
Swine influenza (also called swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu) refers to influenza caused by those strains of influenza virus that usually infect pigs and are called swine influenza virus (SIV).[1] Swine influenza is common in pigs in the midwestern United States (and occasionally in other states), Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe (including the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Italy), Kenya, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia.[1]

Transmission of swine influenza from pigs to humans is not common. When it results in human influenza, it is called zoonotic swine flu. People who work with pigs, especially people with intense exposures, are at risk of catching swine flu. However, only about fifty such transmissions have been recorded since the mid-20th Century, when identification of influenza subtypes became possible. (Importantly, eating pork does not pose a risk of infection.) Rarely, these strains of swine flu can pass from human to human. In humans, the symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of influenza and of influenza-like illness in general, namely chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, severe headache, coughing, weakness and general discomfort.

The 2009 flu outbreak in humans that is widely known as “swine flu” is due to an apparently virulent new strain of influenza A virus subtype H1N1 that was produced by reassortment from one strain of human influenza virus, one strain of avian influenza virus, and two separate strains of swine influenza. The origin of this new strain is unknown, and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) reports that this strain has not been isolated in pigs.[2] It passes with apparent ease from human to human, an ability attributed to an as-yet unidentified mutation.[3] This 2009 H1N1 strain causes the normal symptoms of influenza, such as fever, coughing and headache.[4]
