   Well some people are dying and the danger is for those who have other health risks more than ‘healthy’ people, so if people take the jab it could help to reduce cross infection to those who are vulnerable especially young children, pregnant women and people on blood products, but a strain has begun to develop that is resistant to the Tami-flu vaccine and if that gets going in the community then it might be academic and the numbers dying from flu might well exceed the usual seasonal 200,000 in the UK alone.

   they are falling over themselves to show us they can get something right and we arent taking any notice. we are spurning the jab. so they start shrieking about someone who died, or someone who was saved by the jab. its all bull shite. i dont know anyone who has had swine flu and i dont know anyone who knows anyone who has had it.

   vaccine is OK ,, just silly fears about it / OK can understand fears of pregnant ladies but main thing is to protect as many people as possible .. Look if thousands die , the government would get the blame for not proposing or pushing the vaccine so they cant win ,, can they .. best bet is to have it … I have .

   The vaccine is currently offered to those with underlying health risks, those working in the health sector, or young children and the elderly who are, for obvious reasons, more at risk. If these people are not taking up the vaccine, we should be worried!

   There has been a resistant strain floating around for a while now (all these reports that the cases in Wales are the first resistant ones are rubbish – there have been reports of resistant cases in the international media for months now), and that makes it even more important that people have the vaccine, because there is a possibility they get swine flu, and the drugs don’t work.

   I think they are genuinely worried.

   The reason there is a low take up is because nobody in England trusts the government any more.If the government said that night followed day, nobody would believe them. They claim there is a pandemic and are spending millions on advertising, but, like Lotus Eater, I don’t know anybody who has, or has had swine flu and, all my friends and workmates don’t know anybody who has the flu either.
   So why is the government so concerned about our health and welfare when, for the past twelve years they have been s***ing on us left, right and centre?
   What’s in this vaccine? A vaccine that has not been tested adequately, what are the potential side effects?
   Is it a vaccine to keep the populace subdued?
   I shall not be having the vaccine.

   I’ve got to go with ‘foxyman’ one of the reasons there is a low take up of the vaccine (even among doctors and nurses) is because very few people have any trust in this government. They have told so many lies and are seen to be totally incompetent on so many things why should people believe them?

    Lets see now. We have a traitor parliament that has just given our country away, allowed millions of Immigrants to flood across our borders, sanctioned the wholesale slaughter of Iraqis based on lies…..hate the British people and are bending over backwards to support and promote Islam. and are now passing a law to allow subliminal messages to be put on TV…..and suddenly they are bending over the nation with a hypodermic needle….MMMm…call me an old cynic but I think I’ll side step that one.

    Have to agree with Crow and Foxyman on this, top and bottom, we don’t trust our ‘leaders’ .

    We draw our pension at 65, but I’m sure it would suit many people if we all died at 64 and 11 months.
