Have you ever read a more lucid assessment of the terrifying swine flu crisis?

January 15th, 2011 | Flu Symptoms and Signs Scroll Down To Read Answers To The Question

An answer to a question I posted earlier today:

“The current economic crisis is caused by people worshipping money more than God, so God is destroying the world with what it loves most-money. The swine flu will cost millions, and if it mutates, will be worse than the flu of 1918, if the world does not recogonise this, and continues with corruption, injustice etc, then you will most probably die.”

  1. Jeff S says:

at least we get to go down with something that sounds cool like a “swine flu pandemic”

i always thought i was going to go down with cancer like every other shmuck.

  2. Bishop {simian samurai} says:

This person can’t seem to make up their mind.

Is money destroying us, or the flu?

  3. Askal says:

This is the “logic” of the American conservative Christian. America is in DEEP INTELLECTUAL TROUBLE.

Add: The writer is most probably infected with a new strain of zombie sheep influenza, which destroys the brain.

Just read “section hand:” I rest my case re: “deep intellectual trouble.”

  4. Wayf says:

    Daft is more appropriate.

  5. richard m says:

yes actually i have from the head of the world health organisation who said not to panic

  6. jojokeeper says:

    Possibly.
The fact still remains that millions could die.

  7. Avondrow says:

Have you heard that in Israel you have to call it Mexican flu, because catching Swine flu would not be kosher? I wish I was making that up!

That answer you quote puts me in mind of the American politician / preacher who said the New Orleans flood was punishment on all the gays that lived there!

It takes a strange mindset to worship a murdering god, but some people seem to get joy from the thought. Sad.

  8. Blessed Cheesemaker (cancelled) says:

Shows exactly how inhumane Christianity can cause people to become.

Imagine being willing to worship a God who does those types of things. Its immoral.

  9. livestium says:

Its got nothing to do with God. Its about humans and their greed, their desires. its causality, nothing more and nothing less.

If people want to borrow and spend more than they can afford, sooner or later the debts have to be paid, I fail to see what God has to do with it, the sooner people wake up and realize they have to take personal responsibilities for their lives and not pass the buck on to God, the better the world will be.

Te main teachings of Jesus were saving people from Ignorance, a lesson that most have failed to accept, let alone realize.
Ignorance leads to sin, the cause and affect serves it own rewards.

  10. Ũniνέгsäl Рдnтheist P3D says:

I would like to humbly apologize to world for my moronic countrymen.

  11. Tectonic French Toast (w/syrup) says:

That’s funny. Don’t you love religious people who think they are smart? So cute!

  12. Nithing says:

You go tackle corruption and injustice, I’ll stick with the anti-virals thanks.

  13. Prometheus Unbound says:

I think the methaphoric bible belt can also be interpreted as tied around peoples necks and cutting off blood supply to the brain.

  14. Religulous Amanda says:

So in short, he’s saying if we all get down on our knees to God, the Swine Flu would just go away?

What is with these religious nutters, who think that if they just portray God as a tyrant we’ll suddenly want a relationship with him?

They are either incredibly manipulative, or else what Promethus said.

  15. Julius C says:

At some point I will most probably die.

  16. Kevin S says:

Why, oh why, is God always such a killjoy?

You should submit that one to FSTDT.com.

  17. CinnamonGirl69er says:

Wow the stupidity around here never ceases to amaze me.
I am beginning to believe that there will be plenty of innocent people that dont worship money that will be affected by this flu.
Though I guess I will wait until I hear for sure if it is going to become a major epidemic before I panic too much.

    Have a good one!!

    Cinn =)

  18. Senorita says:

Yes, the internet is full of some good conspiracy theories that are actually more believable than fiction.

  19. tucker says:

Wow…probably has more to do with uncleanliness in other counties.

  20. Cilla - stabs twists the knife says:

But I like bacon and money …
    I’m probably going to die.

  21. MDK says:

There’s no better way to sound so stupid with such a small word,GOD does that ever make you sound stupid.

  22. ★ labios seductores ★ says:

What’s funny is that no one realizes that Tamiflu is an effective treatment – the swine flu is not going to wipe out the human race.

  23. John J says:

Oh, such wisdom! Such an intellect! It’s awesome, isn’t it? I wonder if the answer came from a fundie clown called “Live 4 jesus” who haunts these parts.

He was the only person, as far as I can see, to actually work out that this swine flu hit Kansas first in the US because their school system started teaching evolution (AAAAGH!! Whatever next? Teaching mathematics possibly?) and this is his god’s way of punishing kansas. You don’t believe such wisdom can exist in a mere mortal? This answer is genius, pure genius and I thank you for bringing it to our attention. Thanks

  24. ❂Sun_Is_Shining❂ says:

Unreal. What century are we in? I’m positive I woke up in 2009 this morning.

  25. section hand says:

What we are seeing today–Economic Collapse—Health.ie–Mursa Staph
Fires–Sexual Perversion –Abortion-Swine Flue are very small Preview
    of the next Seven Yrs;Yes I believe God is Shaking every thing that Man-Woman have Trusted,,So that Man will turn to God;Some Will, most will not, which will bring even more Harsh Judgment ;

  26. Sasi says:

Oh, there’s a much more terrifyingly lucid assessment going around that that. After describing some particularly nasty afflictions (affecting a third of mankind) it adds, “The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshipping demons, and idols… Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their fornication or their thefts.”

I’d better not tell you where the full account is written, otherwise you might not sleep terribly well at night. And we can’t have that, can we?

  27. White Lion says:

You like many, don’t like to hear the truth. God is not responsible for the evil within this world, it is man made, as is the economic crisis which originated in America from greed of money, as is the Swine Flu, which also originated in America from cutting costs by seeking profits within a poorer country.

  28. eddy123 says:

ight 60 people have it in the U.S out of a population of 300 million, and one person has died, 12,000 people die of the normal flu in the UK every year. I’m not saying it’s not something to worry about but the hysteria in the press is all to make money a pandemic just means a new disease that spreads around the world it doesn’t mean millions of people are going to die.

also 159 people have died in Mexico out of 1,500 people who have officially got the virus and to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me if alot more people have it in Mexico. it’s not good and i feel sorry for the people who have died but 159 out of 1,500 wouldn’t be that alarming even if they had the normal flu

so at present I’m not to worried and no one should be until the mortality rate of this virus is say 5-20% between the ages of 20-30 years because the normal flu which happens every flu season has a mortality rate of 2% and typically kills the very young and very old.
