I was diagnosed with the H1N1 flu back in August, felt sick for a couple days, and then recovered.
I wasn’t sure if this made me resistant to re-infection, so I went ahead and got an H1N1 vaccine shot as well a few days ago.
Was this necessary? I wanted to err on the side of caution. But now I see all these vaccine shortages, and I wonder if the vaccine was wasted on me, and if I just took someone else’s dose.
Was It Selfish Of Me To Get The H1n1 Vaccine Even Though I Have Already Contracted/recovered From H1n1?

This was not your brightest move, let’s just say. Since you’ve already had the disease, you’ve developed antibodies to it. The point of the vaccine is to get you to develop antibodies, so you did not need the vaccine.
The H1N1 vaccine contains thimerisal as a preservative, and thimerisal contains mercury. Mercury is a neurotoxin that disrupts normal hormonal activity, increases the risk of heart disease and kidney problems. It also compromises the immune system, causes headaches, fatigue, memory loss and mood swings.
Does the vaccine contain enough mercury to make you sick? No. However, mercury is a heavy metal, and as such it has a cumulative effect in your body over a lifetime (it stays, it adds up). Mercury is found in soil and water; it also contaminates large fish (like tuna) and many other foods. It is present in batteries, cosmetics, dental fillings, some medications, solvents, plastics, vaccines, and wood preservatives. All of these are additional sources of cummulative poison.
How can you detoxify your body? Add to your diet apple pectin and other fibers, burdock root, calcium and magnesium, chlorella, garlic, green tea, milk thistle, N-acetylcysteine (NAC), and vitamin C with bioflavonoids.
Maybe the mercury or DNA damage caused by vaccines would have killed or damaged the kid who would have got that shot.. Maybe having H1N1 will confer greater immunity to other/or new bugs to come saving him/her later (like measles is now thought to be possibly a strengthening disease that may stop allergies and/or stop later cancer development.. Maybe they will find that doze was tainted w. something like mad cow disease and you’ll wish some kid had had it. You never know your luck, sometimes it’s best to ‘err’ on the side of bravery!
ofcourse its selfish. You knew that you can cure from H1N1. Some people can’t survive and they die. Vaccines are meant for such people. But unfortunately over 90% that get vaccines don’t need it. People with chronic conditions like asthma or very young children need vaccine.
Also old people don’t need it. This disease strikes young health individuals more. Its unfair that wrong people keep getting the vaccine.
