ok, im starting to get minor flu symptoms, they are not very bad yet, sore throat, low fever, but I still have energy and stuff like that. can I stop it from getting worse?

Horrendously Bad Cough (dry), What Can I Do To Stop It?
September 7th, 2009I current have Flu, possibly swine flu but I’m at the later stages of it and I have a very very bad cough. Its so bad that every medicine I have used for it doesn’t work including a very strong dry cough medicine. It’s worse when I try to sleep and I haven’t slept for over 2 days now because of it.
I can’t go out of the house because of the flu so please don’t say see a doctor and I don’t have any of these fancy herbal drinks or remedies so please don’t suggest those. I have tried the hot steam thing but its not that effective.
Any ideas please?
