Just wondering if you thought the flu vaccine would do this? I know they are different strains, but thought maybe if having a little antibodies of 1 might lessen the severity of the other.

4 Year Old Came Down With Fever And Vomitting Relationship To H1n1 Vaccine?
November 9th, 2009My 4 year old got the H1N1 vaccine yesturday afternoon, she had no symptoms of being sick. Today she was sent home from school with vomiting and a fever of 99.9, and a bit pale. Since then I have used Tylenol and Motrin fever is down, no more vomiting. Could this just be a side effect from the shot, or just normal flu?

November 8th, 2009I was diagnosed with the H1N1 flu back in August, felt sick for a couple days, and then recovered.
I wasn’t sure if this made me resistant to re-infection, so I went ahead and got an H1N1 vaccine shot as well a few days ago.
Was this necessary? I wanted to err on the side of caution. But now I see all these vaccine shortages, and I wonder if the vaccine was wasted on me, and if I just took someone else’s dose.
