You can build up your immune system by avoiding analgesics, alcohol and caffeine and eating a healthy diet. Nah – I’d rather have flu.

Two natural ways are the absolute best ways to prevent the flu.
    1) Wash your hands for at least 15 seconds (front and back – dont forget your nails!) before eating or touching your face/eyes/nose/mouth.
    2) Stay 3-6 feet from anyone who has the flu. It is transmitted via respiratory droplets (as well as by contact) which are thought to not transmit much more than 6 feet from an infected person. This transmission occurs when you breathe in the droplets expelled by someone at close range. It includes coughs, sneezes, etc. The issue is that old people and young people are going to expel these particles different distances. The 3-6 feet is just an average.
Best bet is wash your hands. It will prevent you from inoculating yourself with the virus.

Take vitamin C if you have a cold & also rub a bit of antibacterial gel on your hands now & then soas not to spread germs.
I take a cod liver oil capsule every morning starting around September/October right through winter & have never had a cold in winter yet !

washing your hands really really often. Keep your immune sysytem up with Vit C. Stay away from people sick with flu, try not to breath in when they sneeze etc.
