I’m wondering because my sister has diabetes and therefore is in a high-risk group or whatever and she’s also in the age range they highly reccommend getting the vaccine. Well, she can’t get the regular flu shot because it contains eggs or is made with/in eggs or something like that and she has a mild egg allergy. Is the H1N1 vaccine the same? Or should she be able to get it just fine? Thank you all!

Egg allergy is a contraindication to receiving any of the H1N1 vaccines. Here are the manufacturer package inserts which state this.http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBl…http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBl…http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBl…http://www.fda.gov/downloads/BiologicsBl…
