m feeling the worst of my life my throat is killing me flu isn’t that bad but throat i cant even talk or speak it hurts alot and heart burn is not goin away even though m taking small meals i need some encouragement i feel like crying i m doing all natural remedies for the throat and flu but for a while it feels better after an hour or so pain comes back and my ears r hurting v bad what do i do?any suggestion?i m goin to call DR tomorrow morning.thanks in advance,+i m 35 weeks pregnant cant cant even take deep breaths its hurts alot on my stomach.

October 31st, 2009I have had the flu since friday and am getting no better. I have been taking Thera-Flu during the day and Nyquil and night and am not getting any better. I also seem to be getting an eye infection or something. Is this a common symptom? I have not been sick like this for about 15 years and don’t remember. Thanks for any help.

Flu In Late Pregnancy 38 Weeks…if Is Not To Severe Can It Harm My Baby If Left Untreated?
October 30th, 2009I’m 38 weeks and so far i was doing excelent. I took no medications during this pregnancy except my vitamins. I eat healty, exercise and did all the right things. And now with only two weeks to go it HIT me with a bad cold/flu. Is been 3 days since I saw my doctor, at that time I only had a sore throat and took some halls menthol, but now I have stuffy nose, burning eyes, bit of headake, temperature comes and goes(like hot flashes) and sore muscles. I will see my doctor in 4 days.
Until now I was going to the pool to swim and stretch in the warm water for an 1.30-2h/day, and this makes me feel so good.
What I want to know is if my cold, as long is just mild can harm my baby if I l do not take any medication, instead just get some natural remedy, honey, lemon and also continue my daily swiming?
I can handle it well for my self and don’t feel the need of bed restriction, however I do not know how it will affect my baby if I push myself to just hang in there.
Any sugestions?
