Can Levothyroxine 25mg be making my throat sore??

Hi, I’ve been diagnosed with hypothyroidism by an endocrinologist. Started on Levothyroxine 25mg, (to be increased @ 4 weeks). 1 week into treatment and I seem to be ‘aware’ of my throat all the time ie just where my thyroid is! Not swollen, just a sort of ‘sore’ feeling, It doesn’t hurt if I touch the area. Is this being caused by the drug?

    i am currently on the same dose as u…
    the only time i am “aware” of my throat like that is when i havent swallowed the tablet properly…
    otherwise it goes unnoticed …

    side effects of levothyroxine:
    high heartbeat/ headache/ muscle fatigue/ fever/ throwing up/
    tremor/ weightloss/ diarrea.

    No report of sore throat anywhere in my books.
    It could be just a cold.
