Cold symptoms 2011 or can it be the pollution?

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. Right now we have the worse level of pollution in the country.
There were a few people at my work that were feeling sick, like eye issues, coughing, not feeling well, etc.
Well, yesterday I started feeling a sore throat coming on, today I feel achy and it hurts to swallow. I also won’t put my contacts in, because my eyes are bothering me when they are in.

Could this be brought on from the bad air, or is it just a cold coming on? Is it cold symptoms 2011?

    you can get a empty jar and open the lid to let the air in and close it to contain the sample, then get it analysed to see if its polution or you may be simply suffering from a allergy – cold symptoms 2011

    These could be allergic symptoms or the beginning of a cold or even flu.Do you have a fever?Is your nose streaming?If so it’s flu. You will know in a day or two if the symptoms worsen.
