A question about when pregnancy symptoms ease or disappear?

I know many pregnancy symptoms are supposed to ease after the first trimester, but was just wondering what the experiences of other ladies on here have been.

I was especially wondering about:-

The metallic taste in the mouth.
The need to pass urine every half an hour or so.
The nausea / morning sickness.
The constipation!

I’m 13 weeks at the moment, and hoping my symptoms will ease soon.

I have had to pee like crazy since I’ve been pregnant. That didn’t ease for me. Usually, though, it eases during the second trimester. The constipation didn’t go away for me, either.

  2. alybear says:

haha, They don’t. Just as the ones you have now start to ease, you’ll develop a whole new set of them..

  3. Lily's Mummy says:

Peeing for the whole thing, sorry. The constipation too Im afraid…i was always having trouble pooing (im sure thats why i was so good at pushing the baby out…tmi sorry) I didnt have the metallic taste so no idea on that one, and the morning sickness normally starts at about 6 weeks until about 13 weeks, thats the average though and although that was what i experienced it did come back towards the end for a while, its different for everyone Im afraid. I hope your symptoms of nausea go soon, its vile. Congrats on your PG….xx

  4. Heather says:

Every woman is different. Some women experience nausea/morning sickness every day of their pregnancy. You can talk to your doctor if your symptoms do not start to ease soon.

  5. Ambi G says:

The metallic taste in the mouth – went at 15 weeks.
The need to pass urine every half an hour or so – usually gets worse in last trimester.
The nausea / morning sickness – mine was all day and didnt stop until week 25!!
The constipation! – sorry but as the baby gets bigger it squashes the large intestine which will make it worse because you cannot digest food properly.

Other people are right – Im afraid some symptoms may go but they will be replaced by others.
