Flu Symptoms before period?
August 4th, 2011 2 answers »Hello everyone, this is my first question but its always been bothering me 
.
Anyway.. Weirdly a week before my period i get mild flu-like symptoms, including aches, feeling sick, sore throat, coughing ( as if its trying to clear alot of phlegm ), dizziness and fatigue. This has been happening every time before my period for a while now, and its built up a pattern.
I am confident its not the real cold or flu, because it happens at the same time every month and i have no fever, or runny nose ectt.
Can anyone tell me if they have ever had anything like this before? and what symptoms did you have?
Ive heard its quite common to get flu symptoms before period, and that its just your body feeling run down, and as for the cough ( your body builds more mucus supposedly before you period and its trying to release it )?
Any info would be good thanks.

August 4th, 2011 13 answers »I had sex for the first time around the time of January 10th. We used a condom. Two days after I had my period. I had my period last month too (Feb.). This month I had it again but it was very short and light.
I have been feeling sick. Basic cold and flu symptoms and an upset stomach. And now my stomach is feeling strange. It’s like bigger and harder. But it doesn’t seem like fat…
Can I be pregnant?

August 4th, 2011 10 answers »He started with a watery eye this morning that we’ve been bathing all day, mainly to clear the sticky discharge, this now seems to be doing better, but he’s started sneezing. He’s not been out, or anywhere near any other cats with flu, so I’m a bit worried about him. He’s very lively and is eating fine. So if he gets any worse I’ll call the vet out tomorrow since they’re not open til Tuesday
Can’t they cure Avian Bird Flu simply by adding drops of the popular cough syrup ‘Daynurse’ to bird baths?

I was walking down Northumberland Street in Newcastle Upon Tyne this lunch time and saw someone with a facemask over their mouth and nose, I nearly peed laughing!! What a ridiculous idiot they looked!!
The people in Scotland were in hospital a few days before being released today!!
No worse than ordinary flu…..get over it!!

Should i go to the doctors just to be safe?
btw they was a reported case of swine flu in a town very close to me in the uk.
How fast does small cell lung cancer spreads from the lung to lymph nodes?
August 3rd, 2011 4 answers »MY dad was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer at the end of ferbruary 08 he was paraplegic, but it took doctors about two weeks to find out that he had cancer and by that time cancer had spread to lymph nodes from the lung. the symptoms started with presistent coughing and it got worse but we thought it was just a cold so he was just given some cold cough medication . we went to hospital two weeks since symptoms started begining of february . i cant help but wonder we waited too long, if he had went ot hospital straight away cancer might have been in early stages and could have been cured. He died from chemo side effects on 24th or march. Do you think that the cancer was there longer than that? when he was diagnosed the tumor was about 3-4cm. He also had Pneumonia
